2010 Sketch 012 by rantz 2010 Sketch 012 by rantz
Consensus was Nightwing.....so that is the direction I went...sort of....he's long over due for a change I think.

Now just figuring out on how far to take this tutorial...I'll probably tighten up the pencils, for a final rendition, but would anyone be interested on how to ink this piece as well?

If so, I may continue the tutorial even longer.

I haven't read all the comments but would it be too bold to ask that when you do the inks tutorial and you have the high rez pencils Maybe lets us ink over it as well using your process so that it's more of a hands on kind of experience.

Just a suggestion.

Looks great so far

This is really coming along man. I'd say just finish the torial with final pencils because the most you could show with inks is the simple
Step one - Blacks
Step two - Lines
Step 3 - Feathering/Cleaning up lines.
The only way to do a ink torial is threw vid's, or let them figure it out on their own :D

spoken like an inker....LOL. But for people that dont KNOW how to ink it may come in useful...but I agree vid's are the way to go....i just dont have that capability.

True it can come in handy but you'll have to do a lot of writing ie.What brush to use,Micron useage, quil useage and what all those tools are used for and what they are best suited for. I know you have little time for torials and an inking torial would be a lot of work.

You should just let me do it :P lol
